Samsung first used Bada operating system in 2010 for low-grade touchscreen phones. However, Bada has an improved user interface and smartphone features which let exercise multitasking and application download from Samsung’s dedicated application warehouse.
As Bada powered handsets are doing well in market and buyers are buying them as hot-cakes thus it will not be easy for Tizen run smartphones to stop Bada gizmos. In addition, Samsung also offers Android and Windows phones so it is going to be very tough for Tizen handsets to make way in the market.
As new operating system will surely bring something new for users so Samsung will stop making Bada based smartphones. They also hint that Bada dedicated applications and SDK will prove incompatible for new OS. The fact is still in dark either the previous OS would be upgradable to the new platform or not.
It has already announced that Samsung will launch one or two Tizen based smartphones this year which might be low grade or middle level touchscreen phones. The concept is based on the fact that high-class smartphones of Samsung are powered by Microsoft Windows and Google Android operating systems. Anyway, Samsung always offers best devices with nicely configured operating system so stay ready to buy more efficient Samsung phones and other devices.
