And it has been discover that smartphone users are spending much than other mobile phone users. Around 22%, fifth of smartphone are bound to pay at least £10 more than their tariff price each month and £120 a year on top of their contract by going over their budgets each month. This was done on the 6000 mobile phone users, in which, 6 % agreed that they pay £20 extra each month and a substantial £240 annual overspend.
Out of all, only 15% of mobile owners said that they are provided with the alerts about their tariff plans and their limits. However consumers are unaware of their plans and nearly around two-third of the population, complained that, they are not monitored about the texts and calls they make.
